Surrounded by 40 varieties of plants with edible, medicinal, or sacred properties, our rooftop terrace is an ideal setting to explore fresh ideas and Traditional Knowledges inspired by an expansive view and an intentional connection with nature. Fire and water features add additional natural elements to this nature-centred outdoor gathering or dining space in the center of the city.  

TRADITIONAL SIGNIFICANCE: The selection of plants on the rooftop terrace and inclusion of a greenhouse to grow food and medicines is grounded in traditional Indigenous plant teachings and a respect for living in balance with nature. The rooftop terrace honours the four elements from the Medicine Wheel – air, fire, earth, water – in a space that provides a clear view of the Four Directions.
